Mozilla Security Research Summit 2026

The Mozilla Security Research Summit is an invitation-only event that will bring together a select group of Mozilla engineers and academic researchers in Delft as part of Mozilla’s Security Engineering University Relationship Framework (SURF) initiative. SURF is designed to strengthen collaboration between Mozilla and the academic community through discussions of real-world engineering challenges in security and privacy, while deepening our long-term research partnerships.

Mozilla speakers will cover topics such as AI-driven vulnerability detection, fuzzing, trustworthy AI systems, browser privacy and tracking protection, cryptography, web security, and web measurement. In addition, leading academics in security and privacy will deliver invited talks, providing broader research perspectives and insights. The program is designed to encourage active discussion throughout the day and will conclude with a networking dinner.
